Never too late or too early for your midlife crisis
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. “
-Nobody knows if Mark Twain ever said that
So we bought a boat. Leaving everything behind. A true midlife crisis. Friends and family are having more questions than we have answers or time to answer them. That’s how this blog was born. It is about our journey where we are flipping upside down our carefully crafted and safe lifestyle, leaving businesses and careers, and pursuing the dreams we never knew we had. And feeling very good about it.
I am not going to tell you much about the technical stuff, sailing joys of wind speed, knots, and the size of the sails. I will tell you some random things as an outside observer, a wife, a friend, a new sailor who jumps into any adventure with all her heart and energy and will show you not necessarily the glamorous side of sailing.

Fantastic,
I got your blog forwarded by your mother. Very interesting and intriguing. I was at the same place there many years ago on the board of ‘Round the World’ going sailing boat “Laisve”. Beautiful island and city Papeete and neighboring islands Morea and Bora-Bora. I wish you the fair winds. Kazi
Jurga
Thanks, Kazi! Will definitely make plans to sail together.
